HG 1/144 Reborns Gundam Custom WISP Part 5

Totally forgot to post this ORZ.. this WISP was done on 31st Jan 2010 ago.. but then GN-X arrived and I've been zombi-fied and forgot this one ^^;;

Continuation on Panel Scribing for Reborns.. here the steps how I panel scribing

First draw lines with mechanical pencil ^^


then get unused pla-plate and stick it with tacky and align it with the lines that to be scribed


Here the result after scribing and repeated on other lines...

I added some panel lines below the vent.. the pic is kinda blur orz


Also added panel line on the upper leg part..

When I was pulling out the legs coz wanna make panel line.. the Knee part was snapped...

Ive fixed it with some cement and backing it up with pla-plate behind the part

Thats all for this WISP... I havent do some progressive yet on Reborns due GN-X lol ^^;;

MG Wing Ka still waiting for his turn to be decal-ed and top coat huhu... will do after done with GN-X XD

HG 1/144 Reborns Gundam Custom WISP Part 4

Finally... Reborns WISP lol, I guess now its time to change workaround on Reborns ^^ he gets a less love last time.. XD

Well.. this time I didnt take much WISP coz my camera battery died... lol so I'll cover up only a bit.. which is creating panel-lining on the kit ^^

First.. I drew some sketches to design panel line on some white paper ^^... Drew some design and choose this one as my final, tho I changed a bit when doing the panel-lining ^^;;

Im using this tool... its china brand.. dunno what it called but I guess its called Pen Scriber? hm... very sharp... can ninja kill someone lol

Working on one part of the shoulder... but I failed at first lol.. I use Chubbybots trick.. but somehow my hand always slipped ^^;;.. cover it up with surfacer 500 coz i dont have putty yet.. need to buy one huhu... Didnt take the rest of shoulder parts coz i forgot

Then did the Front Skirt part.. also forgot to take the yellow piece too orz

Move on the Chest part... draw first on the kit... but it tend to rubbed of ~_~

Done scribe the first line on the chest part lol.. almost perfect ne? ^^

Making panel lining kinda make me tired.. lots lots time to take to make it near to perfect and straight line lol ^^;;

Take some pics after assembled test, notice the grey line parts... thats the miss scribe that I mentioned.. covered with surfacer 500 ^^;;

Front Skirt part view ^^, really like it ^^ see that miss scribe again orz

Next will be doing more panel lining, and add some pla-plate for more details ^^

HG 1/144 Reborns Gundam Custom WISP Part 3

A tiny progress on Reborns custom >_<;; after dazzling on nendo saber lily lol ^^
enuf makes me kinda forget bout gunplas :P

Did some refining on this guy ^^ so lets just start :D

Sharpened the V-fin, u can see the sharpened one and OOB one ^^

next I'm using this copic liner to color the eye area.

now on seamlines ^^

modding the head part. First dealing with seams line..

Im using this Tamiya Cement, didnt have thin version, so I'll just go ahead using this..



after apply the cement used clipper to hold the piece and let it dry.

here the result after sanding, and sanding, and sanding ^^;;

next, modding the face peg/connector/what ever u guys called lol

I'll be cutting the peg part,

until I get this ^^

and test fit it into the helmet, at first its just slips in..
it does look somehow really loose but...
after u put the v-fin and put the clear part it will hold it tight
and the face wont be falling off ^^

now dealing with seamlines on other parts

did on the upper arm parts, down is sanded, the other one is cemented,
forgot to take before i cement it lol

Shoulder part


put together but just leave a lil bit gap between it..



apply lightly the cement on it let it runs into the gap...
and press the part together until the cement squeze out.


then sanding all the way after it dries :D

I didnt show all the parts that need to be un-seamlines since its much pretty same way lol.. not much parts need to cement I just do some of it like the weapons, lower arm, etc... the funnels i didnt cement since its pretty much okay without it i guess ^^

well.. more WISP will come, hopefully MG Wing Gundam too .. hehe...

HG 1/144 Reborns Gundam Custom Color Scheme

Finally done with Reborns Custom Color Scheme while ago... still havent sleep lol,

I cant find decent pic of the Reborns lineart, cant be helped but to upscale a bit, pardon me for the blurness lol

Like I said before, the color scheme is going to be kinda like 1 (Ai) Gundam but not that similiar, the main color will be Purple-ish, along with some other color (Red, Dark Grey, light purple or so)... so here some of the scheme that I come with... didnt have much idea, just randomly throw the color lol

This time there more than usual lol, I hope that these scheme are good enough lol...

I've done a lil bit progress with MG Wing Gundam... first going to straight build then gonna think if I should re-paint or not.. lol.. still far away from completion.. will post bout it when the time come ^^;;

Yosh! Back in full force!! & Reborns Custom WISP Part 2 ^^

Yosh!!! Finally Im back in Action!! wooot lolz, lots of things happened when I was in fever mode.. most of them good one ^^.. will do write in next post :)..

When I regain my wellness last night I went 'berserk mode' and build Reborns gundam in one go lol... from chest parts that I left before fever mode XD, I never had building kits like that.. Usually I do part by part then continue tommorow or later haha..

Again, I was in 'berserk mode' totally forgot to take WIP pictures T_T

Its just a straight build, but cleaned some of the nubs and stuffs.. not using any foil sticker since I hate it.. lol

During building this guy, I have some mixed feeling bout this kit.. in a weird way lol.. I dunno.. I just feel different than the other Gundam 00 Season 2 kits..

Maybe because its infamous 'reverse' transformation?

just look at the connector for the Cannon mode head lol,
like I said not going to bother on Cannon mode..

but I like the funnels/fangs on the back... kinda look like wings there huhu..

Going to start my modding on the head part, fix the seam lines and some other stuffs... will see how it goes ^^

Next post hopefully going to cover on the good news and loots hehe..

HG 1/144 Reborns Gundam Custom WISP Part 1

Yep... new Custom gunpla project... since I cant continue painting my 00 gundam custom coz the compressor broken, I decided to start building Reborns Custom ^^.. Cherudim have to wait till his turn lol.. hope he doesnt get mad and goes crazy lol ^^;;

First we look at the Box and the contents ^^

As expected from our famous Gundam Boxart illustrator - Naochika Morishita, the artwork is beautiful XD... I like all HG Gundam 00 artworks, nice~

Now lets look at the runners

Runner A got most of the upperparts of Reborns Gundam including the clear parts


Runner B - got 2 pieces of same runner, very efficient on how Bandai designed the runners in the meantime reduce the production cost ^^


Runner C - same like Runner B, duplicate runners


Runner B - joints and GN Buster rifle molded in 1 color ^^;;




Lastly.. Foil Sticker ^^, many sticker to apply lol.. however I will not use it except for the eyes lol... I hate foil sticker :<

My plan for customize this unit is kinda simple, adding pla-plate details like 00 Gundam, but Ive decided to rid the cannon mode :D, I dont like it lol.. I will keep the funnel/gn-fang and stuff.. so I wont use the cannon mode's head.. I'll manage somehow to cover the exposed joint for that ^^;;...

The color and unit name already thought in my head.. not going to reveal it till this one done (lol)

But Ill give a hint... The color scheme will going to be based on 1 Gundam.. but not 100% same.. and the first letter for this unit is 'M' fufufufu.. :P

I have build a little bit but that going to included in next WISP ^^
